Legoland's Brick or Treat runs to 1 November from £37. Windsor Royal's free pumpkin party is 24 October, and Cookham pumpkin picking costs £4 a head.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, the last day of the borough’s one-week October half term (Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026). Three schools, The Windsor Boys’, Windsor Girls’ and Charters, break for a second week, to 6 November; dates for every school are on our term dates page.
Everything below was checked on the organiser’s own page on 4 October 2026.

Legoland Windsor: Brick or Treat
The resort’s Halloween event runs on 10 and 11 October and then every day from 17 October to 1 November. Tickets are from £37 a person. The 2026 line-up lists a Haunted House Monster Party, the returning Lord Vampyre’s House Party show, a Monster Jam show, Disco Dragon and character meet and greets, on top of the usual rides (Legoland Windsor).
Legoland does not list separate evening hours for Brick or Treat days, so check the park’s opening times for your date before you set off. The £37 is a starting price, so expect to pay more on the busiest half term days.
Windsor Royal: Pumpkin Patch Party, Saturday 24 October
The shopping centre next to Windsor & Eton Central station holds its Pumpkin Patch Party on Saturday 24 October from 10am to 4pm, the first Saturday of half term. Children choose a pumpkin, follow a trail with the centre’s character Otis, meet scarecrows and enter a fancy dress competition at 2pm with prizes. There is face painting and colouring, and toffee apples on sale.
The pumpkins are donated by Anthony Reynolds Fruiterers, the Peascod Street stall, and every donation goes to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service. No price or booking is listed: you donate as you pick your pumpkin (Windsor Royal).
This replaces the format of 2025, when Windsor Royal ran a bookable carving session on Halloween itself, at £4 a pumpkin for the charity Well Windsor (Visit Windsor, 2025 listing).
Pick your own pumpkins: Copas Farms, Cookham
The nearest pumpkin field to Windsor is Copas Farms Fruit Fields on Long Lane, Cookham (SL6 9RF), north of Maidenhead. It opens for pumpkins on October weekends (3 and 4, 10 and 11, 17 and 18) and every day from 23 to 31 October, from 10am. Copas runs a second field at Iver (SL0 0LU) on the same pattern.
- Entry is £4 a person for adults and children aged 2 and over. The farm is clear that this is an entry ticket, not money off pumpkins.
- Pumpkins are £1.20 a kg. Small squashes are £1.50 each, larger ones £1.95 a kg.
- Parking, a wheelbarrow and the maize maze are included.
- Book a date and time slot in advance; the farm says these cannot be changed.
- No dogs, except guide dogs.

Windsor Castle: A Castle under Siege
Not a Halloween event, but the castle’s half term programme for children marks 810 years since the 1216 siege, with art activities and a trail from 10am to 2.30pm on 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30 October. It is included in a castle ticket; the castle is shut on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Royal Collection Trust). The rest of the week is on our October half term page.
The Ivy: Little Monsters Breakfast Banquet
The Ivy Royal Windsor Brasserie on the High Street runs a Halloween breakfast on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, until 11am. It costs £32.50 for adults and £27.50 for children, including breakfast, entertainment and a gift for each child, and fancy dress is encouraged. A non-refundable £10 deposit per person secures the booking (Visit Windsor listing; The Ivy).
Halloween night: fireworks at Ascot
Ascot Racecourse holds its Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday on Saturday 31 October, with the display at 6.30pm. Fireworks-only tickets start at £12 for adults and £5 for children aged 5 to 12 (Ascot Racecourse). Windsor’s own fireworks at the racecourse are a week later, on 7 November; both are on our Windsor fireworks page.
Not confirmed for 2026
- The Night Forest at Braywick Nature Centre. The council’s after-dark pumpkin carving and storytelling walk for children aged 4 to 11 cost £7 a child last year. Its listing is marked as passed and no 2026 dates have been published (Visit Windsor). We will add it if the borough lists it.
Getting there
Half term Saturdays are the busiest days in the town centre. Car park prices, and which car parks fill first, are on our parking in Windsor page. For Legoland, the resort is two miles out of town on the Winkfield Road; road closures for the week are on roadworks and travel.
